Beach

If you are going by taxi, the morning and afternoon will be cheaper, and plenty of taxis will be available. When people start going to Bangla Road around 7-8 pm, getting a taxi or only more expensive options can be hard. Also, Bangla Road is a great place to get cheap beers and cocktails before the Go-go Bars open. If you play Connect Four or the dice game with one of the staff, expect to buy them a drink. Also great to catch international sports like Football, Rugby, and Cricket. American sports like Baseball and American Football are much harder to find.

Because of the one-way system, going to Patong Beach, picking Bangla Road as the destination, and walking to the beach will get you there quicker. However, it is good to do the whole route once to see where everything is.

 For a top-of-the-range massage, especially for couples, and has a fantastic view.

Amari also has a traditional English Afternoon tea in a tree house. You do need to climb up a ladder. Great view and a selfie spot. Also, delicious.
