Wichit · Central Festival.
The neighbourhood around our THE BASE Central, THE BASE Rise, and THE BASE Bukit condos — Central Festival is the anchor, and there's a quiet residential pocket of restaurants, supermarkets, and massage spots within a short walk in every other direction.

Right outside the door
7-Eleven
basics, laundry drop-off, SIM cards.
Feel the Massage

directly opposite the 7-Eleven. Foot, shoulder, and head massage; pay on the ground floor, head up to the second floor for the massage itself. Tea and a small snack at the end.
Central Festival
high-end shopping, fine dining, the usual chains. Luggage lockers near the entrance make this the perfect last stop before the airport.
Out at THE BASE Bukit
THE BASE Bukit is the newest building in the portfolio (completed September 2025) and sits a touch further south than THE BASE Central and Rise. Big C is 400m away — crosswalk straight there — making it the closest everyday supermarket for the Bukit unit (food court inside, plus pharmacy, mobile-phone counters, the usual). Central Festival is a longer walk from Bukit (or a 5-min Bolt) than from the other Wichit condos — but Sansiri runs a free resident shuttle to Central Festival from the lobby, so unless you fancy the walk you can hop on the shuttle instead.
Local restaurants
Korea Town Phuket
Korean destination with Choongman Chicken Phuket and Sulbing Hongdae Phuket — basically a much better KFC. Bonus: they let you store suitcases for free, so it's a perfect last stop before the airport.

Wake Cup Coffee and Tea
Local café at the corner. Coffee, tea, soft drinks, alcohol, pastries, sandwiches, plus Thai and Russian menu items.
โรงเตี๊ยม ติ่มซำ ภูเก็ต — Rongtiem Dim Sum (粥店)
Traditional Thai breakfast — Thai coffee with honey, dim sum (Thai-style, different from the Chinese version). Pick-your-own dishes that they prepare for you.
Beerfest Restaurant
House-brewed beer + solid food. One of our favourites.

Bollywood Indian Restaurant
Great local Indian. Worth a trip if you've been eating Thai for a week straight.
Supermarkets that deliver
All of these deliver — install the app once and never queue.
Your everyday supermarket. Install the app — free delivery on most orders. Great for water, chicken, rice, basic ingredients.
Transport
Bolt is the cheapest taxi app — works like Uber, uses your phone's GPS to find you. Grab is the same idea, a bit pricier, but also handles food delivery. Food Panda is the other food-delivery option. All three accept foreign cards. If you'd rather pay cash, have the exact amount ready. Airport ↔ condo direct on Bolt or Grab: 700–800 baht.
Airport ↔ condo
- Phuket Smart Bus to Phuket Town: 100 baht. Then taxi from town to the condo: ~400 baht.
- Bolt / Grab direct from airport: 700–800 baht. Card payment works.
- Klook shared-minibus transfer is another option.
Apps to install before you arrive

Wider restaurant coverage than Grab Food.

Going to Patong Beach
Morning + afternoon: easy. Plenty of taxis, cheap. Evening (7pm onwards): harder. Once the Bangla Road crowd starts moving, drivers either take their pick of riders or quote inflated fares.
Patong tip: because of the one-way system, asking the driver for "Bangla Road" and walking to the beach gets you there quicker than asking for the beach directly. Worth doing the full route once on your first trip just to see where everything is.
Bangla Road itself: cheap beers and cocktails before the go-go bars open. If you end up playing Connect Four or the dice game with one of the staff, expect to buy them a drink. Good for international sports on the screens — football, rugby, cricket. American sports are harder to find.
Massage in Patong
Breeze Spa at Amari Phuket — top-of-range, especially for couples, fantastic view. Amari also does English afternoon tea in a tree house (yes, you climb a ladder; yes, it's worth it).
